Flag Quiz
See a flag, name the country. The classic geography drill, with flags drawn as real images (never emoji, so it works on every screen).
Capital Quiz
See a country, name its capital. From the obvious (Paris) to the ones that trip everyone up (Canberra, anyone?).
Which Country?
See a capital, name the country it belongs to. The reverse drill — harder than it looks.
Drill by continent
Africa
54 countries
54 countries — the most of any continent, and the trickiest capitals. Drill Africa until Addis Ababa and Antananarivo feel easy.
Asia
48 countries
48 countries from Tokyo to Beirut. Watch out for the Central Asian capitals — Bishkek, Dushanbe and Ashgabat love to swap places in your memory.
Europe
46 countries
46 countries packed close together. The flags are the hard part here: plenty of red-white-blue horizontal stripes waiting to be confused.
North America
23 countries
23 countries including the Caribbean and Central America. Small island capitals like Basseterre and Castries are the classic curveballs.
South America
12 countries
Only 12 countries — the fastest continent to master end to end. Then try naming every capital without a single slip.
Oceania
14 countries
14 countries, mostly Pacific island nations. Yaren, Nukuʻalofa and South Tarawa separate the casual players from the completionists.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Daily Challenge?
Ten questions — a mix of flag and capital questions — generated from today's date. Everyone who plays on the same day gets exactly the same ten questions, so you can compare scores fairly. A new challenge arrives every day at your local midnight.
How does the streak work?
Finish the Daily Challenge and your streak grows by one day. Miss a day and it restarts at one — no accounts, no reminders, just you and the calendar. Your streak and scores are stored only in this browser, on this device.
How many countries are in the quiz?
197 — every sovereign state plus Taiwan, Palestine and Kosovo: name, capital and continent for each. Practice quizzes can be filtered to a single continent, and the full list is on the All Countries page if you want to study first.
Why do the flags look like images instead of emoji?
Flag emoji don't render on Windows — they show as two-letter codes, which would give the answer away. So every flag here is a real public-domain flag image, shown the same way on every device.
Is it free?
Yes. GeoQuiz Daily is free to use, supported by ads, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
